Words from the Designer
These patch-adorned sweatpants were created with young artisans in mind. Inspired by a remark my grandfather once made—“A skilled artisan never soils their work clothes”—I designed them using the stained workwear of young artisans, who are still very active, as a motif. The fabric is a rayon-blend fleece that evokes materials from the 70s and 80s. They are finished with a heavily painted, distressed look.
