One of my favorite styles of clothing is the kind that “sways.” It might be easier to understand if I use a coat as an example. The hem of a long coat moves with a sense of dynamism with every step—I describe that as “swaying.” “Dancing” or “bouncing” might convey a similar meaning, but when I see clothing swaying, my emotions seem to sway in response, so the expression “swaying” just feels right to me. This wool shirt was designed with that “swaying” quality in mind. Try giving it a gentle shake while it’s still on the hanger at the exhibition venue. I’m sure that alone will make you want to slip it on.
