REFOMED

“Elegant uniforms inspired by rugged workwear”
refomed launched in the Fall/Winter 2020–21 season.
Prior to that, I had been creating pieces under the name refomed since my student days.
The designer’s own experiences and observations, from childhood to the present.
Underlying all of this is the constant presence of my grandfather, who runs a plastering business at our family home.
The workwear my grandfather still wears on the job today, and the pieces that lie dormant in his closet.
The authentic way craftsmen wear their clothes on the job site, the real stains and wear from the work process, and memories of breaks on the job.
The consideration shown to craftsmen through their workwear.
All of these elements serve as the design inspiration for refomed.
